Salvation

Have you ever had doubts about your salvation? Well, I'm here to tell you that if you have received Jesus as Lord, then there is no way you can lose your salvation. As a matter of fact, your name is written in stone!

Rock of Our Salvation

The Dream, The Vision, and The Revelation

One night I had a dream in which I boldly witnessed to a man. In it, he broke down and gave his life to the Lord. When I woke up, God gave me a vision and He began to speak to me about salvation.

In the vision, I saw a white marble tablet with what appeared to be names written in wet ink upon it. I suddenly realized that this was the Lamb's Book of Life . God spoke to me and said that He had written every person's name there before time began. I was totally amazed at this because I had always thought that our names were written there only after we are born again.

Ephesians 1:4-5 NIV

For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight.

In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will.

When He referred to "us" in this passage He was referring to everybody that ever lived. By writing every person's name in the Book of Life before creation, He predestined everyone to be adopted as His sons. He never predestined anyone to die and go to hell. God gave everyone a chance to receive salvation.

Can Your Name Be "Blotted Out"?

God told me that those who have received Jesus as Lord will never have their names blotted out of the Lamb's Book of Life.

Rock of Our Salvation Revelation 3:5 NIV

He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before My Father and His angels.

Those who reject Jesus their entire life and die lost are the only ones whose names will be blotted out. The word "blot" actually means "to wipe up, or to absorb". In the vision, I saw these names in wet ink being wiped clean off the marble.

God told me that He removes the names of the lost before the judgement day. The names must be forgotten because it would hurt Him too much to know those who went to hell. That is why Jesus will say to the lost, "I never knew you". (Matt. 7:23) On that day, the Book of Life will be complete. The names of every believer will still be written in it, but the names of the lost will have already been blotted out.

Chiseled In Stone

Written In Stone God showed me that the instant anyone receives salvation, their name, which was written in wet ink, instantly dries. In the vision, I could see that as the ink dried, the name became chiseled into the marble tablet. At that very instant, it became permanently engraved in stone, never to be erased!

Revelation 2:17 NIV

...I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.

Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. He wrote our names in the Lamb's Book of Life before we were ever born. He finished all that was necessary for us to have eternal life by dying on the cross. All we have to do is receive it!

Isaiah 28:16 NIV

Rock of Our Salvation

So this is what the Sovereign LORD says: "See, I lay a Stone in Zion, a tested Stone, a Precious Cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never be dismayed."

Once you give your life to Jesus, you have a sure foundation. Your name is carved in rock! If you are saved, don't ever let the enemy tell you that you can lose your salvation. Just remember, your name can't be blotted out, because....
