RAINSVILLE, ALABAMA - Revival Fire Crusade 2000 on April 3-8 was a tremendous success! From the young child to the senior citizen, lives were changed by the power of God. Awesome demonstrations of God's power were seen as His Word was confirmed with amazing signs, miracles, and wonders.
Powerful Worship
In the
meetings, the people exuberantly worshiped God in Spirit and in truth. The teenagers that attended the crusade experienced the fire of the Holy Ghost and became thoroughly excited about God. People of all ages danced like David with all their might, ran with the fire of God, and were drunk in the Spirit like the 120 on the Day of Pentecost! One night, the power of God hit Chris so hard that he break-danced! (He doesn't even know how!) The civic center was electric with the power of God!
A passionate fire was lit in the hearts of believers and souls were saved as God mightily poured out His Spirit at the crusade.
People were given new songs from the Holy Spirit at various times during the meetings. In one meeting, the Holy Spirit led Chris to hand a lady the microphone in the middle of his message. The Lord instantly gave her songs from heaven that flowed with Chris' message. A young lady testified later of how the songs caused a change to take place in her.
Amazing Revelations From God's Word
Chris preached under such a powerful anointing and with such fire and zeal that the place was explosive! The Holy Spirit through him revealed amazing revelations as he preached God's Word. On one particular night, Chris preached on preparing the way for Jesus to come like the triumphant entry into Jerusalem. He preached about how we must get excited about Jesus. At one point, Chris threw a fern from the stage onto the floor and bowed as if he were laying palm branches before the Lord. He then ran up the steps to the very top of the second level of the civic center and proclaimed, "Jesus is coming!" It was powerful!
The entire week Chris preached about the unprecedented global revival that is coming and how God wants us to be prepared by being filled with His Spirit. On Monday night the message was about how the dry bones of the church are coming together. Chris preached on Tuesday night about the new wine of the Holy Spirit. Wednesday night the message was about how being filled with the Holy Spirit makes believers bold and radical for the Lord. Thursday night, Chris preached about the fire of God. Friday night's message was about how we are to be excited about God just like the people in Jerusalem were as Jesus entered the city. On the last night of the crusade, Chris preached about being "Possessed By The Holy Ghost."
Signs, Miracles, & Wonders
People were touched in amazing ways as signs, miracles, and wonders abounded at the crusade! People were healed of everything from back pain to severe acid reflux. Many fell out under the power of God and were filled with the Holy Ghost, laughing and drunk on the new wine of the Spirit. Some people received visions from the Lord. A local youth pastor was so intoxicated with the new wine that he literally rolled under the stage! Chris took his tie off and tied it around the man's head. Immediately, the youth pastor jumped up and ran around the entire arena!
Chris called a little boy up to the front and prophesied to him that he will preach the gospel to multitudes. Chris then told the boy to lay hands on the people. The little boy took two steps toward the crowd and fell forward under the power of God. The place went ballistic! People started falling out and getting drunk in the Spirit. Amazingly, adults became even more drunk in the Spirit as young children and toddlers touched them!
One young man, a high school senior, was drunk in the Spirit in almost all of the meetings.
In one meeting he had to be helped out of the arena and could hardly make it up the steps. The following night, he stood up and began to preach by the Spirit. It was powerful!
On the last night of the crusade, we saw an amazing sign and wonder that has never before happened in our meetings...
On the last night of the crusade, we saw an amazing sign and wonder that has never before happened in our meetings. Gold and silver dust began appearing on people! It was on everyone there! It appeared primarily on the palms of people's hands, but also appeared on some people's arms, faces, clothing, and hair! Little children and even a baby who had not had hands laid on them for prayer had the gold and silver dust on their palms! God was manifesting His glory in a way that people could see! In addition, oil was pooling up in the hands of the people there! It was awesome! Reports came in that some of the teenagers who had experienced this were so excited that they couldn't sleep until 1 AM!
Fruits Of Revival
We could see great boldness come upon the people as lives were changed forever. One night, following the crusade, a group of people felt led to witness to the lost in a local Wal-Mart. Five people were saved to the glory of God!
One report came in that two children (brother and sister) were so excited about having the gold and silver dust on them that they went home and told their parents about it. This stirred the curiosity of the dad so much that he asked the lady who had brought the children to the crusade about it. This opened the door for her to explain the plan of salvation. As a result, he immediately accepted Jesus as the Lord of his life! Hallelujah!
