The Power of God's Love

We are now entering into a time of the greatest harvest of mankind that the Kingdom of God has ever seen. We, the radiant church, will reap in this glorious harvest by the love of God. The love of God will radiate from the hearts of men and women in these last days and the world will see the power of God being made manifest like never before. They will see the power of God's love.
Jesus was able to walk in the power of God because He always walked in the love of God.
Demonstrating God's Love
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself."
Mat 22:37-39 NIV
Jesus tells us here that our greatest command is to love. God gives us the ability to love when we are born again. The Holy Spirit fills our heart with the love of God so that we can show His love to others. Paul gives us a description of love...
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NIV
Jesus was able to walk in the power of God because He always walked in the love of God. The love of God is the life that resurrected Jesus. It is the light that shined into the darkness. It is the light that will shine into the darkness of this world and resurrect the dead from their sin. We will see a mighty harvest that will be brought in from the light of God's love.
The Fire Of God's Love
We always associate love with warmth. God showed me that His love for us is so intense and passionate that it is like fire. In fact, we know that God is love and that He is a consuming fire. (1 John 4:8, Heb. 12:29)
Love...burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away.
Song of Solomon 8:6-7 NIV
The multitudes will be amazed at the power of God's love and how much He wants to bring goodness and mercy into their lives. He wants to deliver them from every sickness and every burden that is keeping them from His love. It is a love that is burning with an intense fire that cannot be quenched with any water, with any river, or with any ocean. It is a love that surpasses all understanding. It is a love that God has shown us from the creation of the world to the end of time. It is this love that is going to bring in the great end-time harvest. It is the love of God that will enable us to demonstrate the power of God.
And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Ephesians 3:16-19 NIV
When we are rooted and established in love, we are filled with all the fullness of God. We then enter into the supernatural realm of the power of God, where nothing is impossible!
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
Ephesians 3:20 KJV
The army of God will rise up in love and will overtake the enemy and trample the enemy down. It will be a complete contrast to the way that a natural army works. A natural army kills and destroys, but God's army will love and demonstrate His goodness to the world. This love will be displayed by the Spirit of God with signs, miracles, and wonders. Just as there are people on the front lines of battle, there will be people on the front lines of the harvest fields carrying the gospel to the multitudes. It will be the love of God that drives this army. Just as Paul said that it is Christ's love that compels him, it will be the love of God that compels the end-time army to march around the world proclaiming the gospel.
Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was of old nor ever will be in ages to come. Before them fire devours, behind them a flame blazes.
Joes 2:2-3 NIV
It is the fire of love that goes before and blazes behind the army of God. It is the chaff of the enemy that is burnt in the process. We will see this happen more and more as we enter into the great end-time harvest. The army is coming and it is going to bring in the harvest and burn up the chaff with the all-consuming fire of God's love.
Seeds of Love
We are to go forth into the world with the seeds of love that God has sown into our heart by the Holy Spirit. We are to go into the fields and plant the seeds of love and we will see an instant harvest. Then, we will return to our Father's house with sheaves, bringing them in with the joy of the Lord. (Ps. 126:6) We will come shouting into the house of God, proclaiming that we brought in His harvest and that we walked in His power...the power of His love.
