Grow Spiritually

We received a revelation from God one night on how to grow spiritually. He said that as we praise Him we are growing. As we grow we are changing.
Psalm 92:12-15 NIVThe righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.
They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, "The LORD is upright; He is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in Him."
He compared us here to trees that are growing. In nature, plants will always follow the sun with their leaves. Like a plant lifting its leaves up to the sun, we should also lift our hands up to the Son . We must go toward the light of Jesus or we will not get the nourishment that we need. He will sustain our hearts, minds, and bodies.
Praise is the fruit of our lips!
He compares us here to trees that flourish, or grow, in the courts of our God. It says that we will be like trees that "stay fresh and green". As long as we keep praising Him, we will continue to grow.
Enter His Courts With Praise
Psalm 100:4 NIV
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His Name.
Just as the righteous flourished like trees in the courts of the Lord, we will also flourish as we enter into the courts of the Lord with praise. We need to always give Him praise and thanksgiving in order to grow spiritually.
Bear Good Fruit

Hebrews 13:15 NIV
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise--the fruit of lips that confess His name.
Jesus said that we are to bear good fruit. Praise is the fruit of our lips. We need to always proclaim the praises of God. We are not only to be inhabitors of praise, but praise should inhabit us.
